Privacy Policy — BYNT Maps

This Privacy Policy explains how the BYNT Maps app ("the app"), provided by Bynt Group ("we", "us"), handles information. The app is a read-only viewer for ArcGIS Online web maps.

Summary

We do not collect, store, sell, or share your personal information. The app has no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.

Authentication

To use the app you sign in with your existing ArcGIS Online account using OAuth 2.0. Sign-in happens directly between your device and Esri's ArcGIS Online service through Apple's secure web authentication. We never see, receive, or store your username or password. Authentication tokens are stored only on your device, in the iOS Keychain, and are removed when you sign out.

Your use of ArcGIS Online is governed by Esri's own privacy policy and your organization's agreement with Esri.

Location

If you grant location permission, the app shows your current location on the map as a blue dot. This location is used only on your device to display the dot. It is not transmitted to us, not stored, and not shared with any third party. You can deny or revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings; the app remains fully usable without it.

Map and GIS data

The maps, layers, and feature attributes you view come from your ArcGIS Online account and are delivered to your device by Esri's services. We do not receive, store, or process this content. The app is strictly read-only and never creates, edits, or deletes any ArcGIS data.

Data we collect

None. The app does not collect personal data for us. It contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs and no advertising.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly. Material changes will be reflected here.
